- Apply, apply, apply.
- Do not worry about the cost unless you really cannot afford it… just apply to as many locations as you can which you can realistically get into, as well as some safety net schools (aka schools which are not your first choice schools, but a backup which you are somewhat confident you can get accepted into).
- Visit the schools you are considering…the actual place may give you a different vibe than just the website.
- Make sure you keep tabs on the unique requirements of each program, as each one is different. This includes prereqs, GPA – overall and for prereqs, GRE scores, observation experience, and any supplemental applications.

- Rejection letters are not the end of the world…keep trying if you really want to be pursue PT.

- Be proactive during your waiting period. Keep yourself busy to keep sane during this time.
- If you do not get in even after landing an interview, do not lose hope! Try contacting the school to ask the enrollment advisor what you can improve on for the next time. Some may offer really helpful advice, but you will not know if you do not take the time to ask.
